Were you at the Butler County Chamber Mixer on 8/28/2012? If so you probably saw me painting in the corner. Well here is the finished painting!
Thanks to all of you who stopped by my easel and encouraged me.
This painting is available for purchase, send me an email or call if you are interested.
Growing up, I always wanted a dog. As often happens, I had everything but a dog – fish, angel fish, gold fish, lots of fish. I had a canary, a mouse and even more fish. My parents always said no to the dog.
One day, more than a few years ago, my friend Elizabeth picked up a scrawny kitten and handed it to me. I named her Sweet Pea. A few years later, my friend Susan pointed me to Pearl, my wonderful, resilient cat who was with me for over 17 years.
And then a few more years passed, and my husband came along with a big dog. The baby came later and has grown up too fast. Now I have a Great Dane and a beagle but my son would like some fish.
What comes around goes around.
I’ve been painting and drawing as long as I can remember.
My family likes my work, and I think you will too.
